5 stars Wireless Bridge (wireless network adapter)

I bought this little baby 3 days ago and my head was filled with concern about a couple of possible problems. I was wondering about how strong the signal would be (if i could even get one) from my room upstairs, and if i would be able to connect my console to my laptop.

I can imagine that many people will be thinking about these issues, especially the range, so here is my current experience of the product.

RANGE: I have the device in my room which is on the opposite side of my house to my router, which is downstairs. So, nervously, i connected the device into my xbox 360 and prayed it would connect. I went on 'connect to xbox live' and after about 4 seconds my prayers were answered; at the bottom of the screen it stated 'MattyElite69 (my gamertag) has signed in to xbox live.' I didnt even set it up and it had connected with 3/4 bar strength. I have heard that it depends on how thick your walls are, however this did not prove an issue.

MEDIA TRANSFER FROM LAPTOP: This was a doddle. Followed a short process and i was transfering in no time at all.

FINAL VERDICT: Useful and reliable piece of kit. Hefty price tage, but in my opinion worth it.

5 stars Next Gen gaming online made easy

I purchased my Xbox 360 Core System at Christmas & was not really to fused about getting into playing online until my mate started telling how great playing games like Final Fantasy 11, Gears Of War ect online.

So i decided to go out & purchase a Network Adapter this weekend & can honestly say that it is the best bit of kit i have purchased for my 360 so far. I know quite a few people have commented about how £59.99 is a bit to shell out for an adapter is, but to be honest i think it is worth the cash.

Setting the little gizmo is a doddle & was lot less hassle than i expected, all that the 360 required you to do is plug it in at the USB port at the back of your console & then follow the on screen instructions once its found the device.

On the whole, i would say it took me not more than 5mins to be setup & hooked up to Xbox Live. I have had a couple of games on Gears Of War & Ridge Racer 6 which is a great laugh when you invite a friend to play online with you. My mate has promises to let me have a spare wireless headset which he has lying around which should be great for ingame banter.

I'm so glad i purchased this adapter now & cant wait to get a 20GB HDD & a copy of Final Fantasy 11 next week.
